Dr. Wajiha Basir graduated from Manchester Dental School in 2007 and has since pursued extensive postgraduate training, including Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Chester and Dental Implantology at the ICE Hospital, Manchester. A proud member of the Royal College of Surgeons (England and Edinburgh) and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Basir has a particular interest in advanced restorative care and cosmetic dentistry. 

Recognized for her expertise and patient commitment she was awarded Highly Commended Practice Principal of the Year (North) in 2024 and was a finalist for Dentist of the Year in both 2023 and 2024. 

For her commitment to teaching, she completed a Diploma in Teaching in Healthcare from UCLan and has served as an educational supervisor for newly qualified dentists as well as a clinical mentor at the ICE Hospital. 

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Basir supports many charitable projects promoting mental and physical well-being and enjoys creative pursuits such as painting and piano along with a general love for travelling. She also is a proud mum to two.
