Following 10 years of co-owning an award-winning dental practice, Nicki set up her own business, Practices Made Perfect (PMP), in 2014. PMP partners with Practice Principals and their teams to craft a coaching and training solution for their practice’s specific needs and challenges to ignite positive change and create sustainable growth. Nicki specialises in compliance, leadership and team building consultancy and training.

In response to the current dental crisis and its impact on the state of children’s oral health, Nicki has launched the Magic Dentist campaign across the UK that gained charity status in April 2024 (Reg. Charity No. 1207704). The main aim is to support primary school teachers to deliver oral health education, alleviate the increasingly high number of missed school days due to oral health problems and reduce admissions to hospital for tooth extractions.

Nicki was also placed in Dentistry’s Top 50 most influential people list in March 2021.
