Virginia is a 4th year dental student with a strong commitment to leadership, advocacy, and community building within dentistry. She has extensive experience organising and expanding student-led dental initiatives on a national scale, with a focus on inclusivity, education, and representation.

She is Deputy Organiser of the BDSA Conference in Liverpool, delivering the UK’s largest dental student event, hosting over 850 UK and international students with world-class speakers and venues. Virginia is also Conference Coordinator for the Aesthetic Dentistry Students’ Society, where she has delivered a record number of conferences, expanded events into the North of England, and launched a Dental Therapy Conference, the first of its kind.

Alongside this, Virginia works as a Clinical Advisor for dental software company Medicube Health and runs a dental student Instagram account, @virginia.dentistry, with over 1,600 followers, sharing educational content and fostering community.

Beyond dentistry, she is President of the Feminist Society, sits on the VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) initiative student panel, and has spoken at women’s rights marches including Reclaim the Night. She is also President of the Baking Society, shortlisted for Best Society of the Year two years running and winner of Fundraiser of the Year, and has been shortlisted for Student Changemaker of the Year. Virginia is passionate about empowering, supporting, and connecting women in dentistry.
