Hi everyone! I’m Zahra, an undergraduate dental student at the University of Manchester and The Female Dentist ambassador here too!

As someone who has come from no dental connections I have paved my way and help other aspiring dental applicants too through my social media @zahrasmilesbright which has over 3000 followers on TikTok

I know how difficult it is to create a strong network of genuine individuals who care which is why I’m so excited to be a part of The Female Dentist, a community which empowers and represents women in dentistry

I have been fortunate enough to be involved in many roles during my 2 years at University so far. From Conference Coordinator for the Manchester Undergraduate Dental Research Conference, The Young Dentist Logistics Officer to the Sponsorship Liaison, one of my main beliefs is that life shouldn’t be just about academics, it should be about honing your personal and professional skills too which is exactly what I aim to do!

Asides from all my busy responsibilities, I love a good spa day, travelling and swimming. My favourite memory is probably when I went skydiving at age 18…did I mention I was a thrill seeker.

I really look forward to collaborating with The Female Dentist to continue growing a tight-knit community of accomplished women.
